Where in the world is Bertha? : Get to Know Us

So you've found your way to this blog and you're probably wondering who we are and what we do... so here is a little section to tell you a little bit about ourselves. Warning: We are all Aggies, gig'em!

This is our mom. She is a graduate from Texas A&M, class of '92 where she studied Wildlife & Fishery Sciences. She has dedicated her life to teaching science and enriching the minds of children. She loves nature and spent years teaching Environmental Science. She has published several study guides, books, and test banks. She dreams of retiring and traveling the world with David.

This is our dad. He is also a graduate from Texas A&M University, class of '92 where he studied Economics. He has also spent his life teaching, including special education, economics, government, and world geography. He now works as an assistant principal at a middle school. He enjoys spending time outdoors, barbecuing, listening to Texas country music and watching Aggie football. He also dreams of retiring and traveling the world in the RV with Courtney.

This is our 19 year old daughter. She attends Texas A&M University and is studying Special Education. She loves working with special needs children, learning, traveling, watching movies, crafting, and being outdoors. She hopes to become an elementary special education teacher and graduate from A&M in 2016. Whoop!

This is our 17 year old son. He is going into his senior year in high school and hopes to enter the medical field. He also hopes to follow the family tradition and become a Fightin' Texas Aggie, Class of 2019! He enjoys video games, friends, working as a host at Texas Roadhouse, and hammocking.

This is Caitlin's boyfriend, Garrett. He is an Industrial Engineering student at Texas A&M. He loves staying fit, being outdoors, video games, and spending time with family and friends. He is looking forward to traveling with us, this is his first vacation in an RV and the first time he'll see anything outside of the surrounding states of Texas. He dreams of joining a company as an engineer, doing what he loves.

This is one of our beloved dogs, Lola. She is a princess and gets exactly what she wants. She loves toys, playing on the beach and trying to avoid Rudder. She is a Shihtzu-Poodle and is very important, and knows it.

This is Rudder, our Schnoodle. (Schnauzer-Poodle). He suffers from AD/HD, haha, just kidding but he's crazy. He enjoys running in circles, barking at nothing, and trying to get Lola to play with him, which he rarely succeeds at. Rudder however is not fond of the water and is afraid of stepping on metal and being in the RV when it is in motion. He spends his free time napping, barking at inanimate objects and tirelessly trying to run away and run back and run away and run back and run away and run back and... well you get the point.
